Foster Dog in Rehab Finds Loving Home

When Celia, a volunteer at the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, Massachusetts, agreed to take a beautiful labrador named Riley, she didn’t think it would be anything more than a foster stay. Riley was recovering from hip surgery while staying with Celia. Due to a combination of Riley’s winning personality and Celia’s warm welcome, the stay was made permanent, and Riley was adopted!
