This is Paul Carrick Brunson with Ask YourTango, answering all of your love and relationship questions.

Today's question, "How can I spice things up?"

I just began dating this really awesome guy. I can feel us falling into a routine already. We have great conversations but I just don't want things to get boring too soon. What can I do to keep him interested in me?

Well, I love the fact that you are interested in keeping things spicy and hot. Well, you didn't say hot but I'm assuming hot might be part of it.

Well, I would suggest doing is thinking about what his interests are because I know that you're listening and then planning something to surprise him that includes all those interests.

You know, I'll never forget that one of the things my wife did for me that I absolutely adored, that I'll never forget, is she planned a day called 'The Paul Brunson Day.'

We started at my favorite brunch spot.

She rented one of my favorite cars to drive.

I love to eat so we went to another restaurant

Then we went to a basketball game to see my favorite team

The bottom line is that the entire day was built around me
and built around my interest.

And it just showed me that she listens and she cares.

So if you want to spice things up, I suggest planning a day just for him around his interests and he'll see that you really do care.
