Katy Perry, Khloe Kardashian and Lady Gaga were among a slew of celebrities who took to social media in response to what some would certainly consider a shocking result to the 2016 Presidential Election after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States. The world watched on as history was made, but not the kind of history many were expecting. And Hollywood wasn’t at all too thrilled over the plot twist.
Actors and musicians such as Zoe Saldana, Madonna, Eva Longoria and Ariana Grande made their voices heard on Twitter and Snapchat, expressing a range of emotions, including surprise, concern and disappointment over the outcome of the pivotal race.
