Smurfs: The Lost Village is an upcoming 2017 American 3D computer-animated adventure-comedy film directed by Kelly Asbury. It is based primarily on The Smurfs comic book series created by the Belgian comics artist Peyo and is a reboot film, unrelated to Sony's live-action/animated film series. The film stars Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf, Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf, Rainn Wilson as Gargamel and Julia Roberts as Smurfwillow. The film is set for an April 7, 2017, release.

Smurfette attempts to find her purpose in the village. When she encounters a creature in the Forbidden Forest who drops a mysterious map, she sets off with her friends Brainy, Clumsy, and Hefty to find the Lost Village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.
