Crowds Fill Subway Platform as Power Outage Causes Delays

Morning subway commuters faced delays and platform crowding on April 21 after a power outage at 7 Av-53 St. disrupted train service in New York City.

Con Edison and the MTA stated that emergency generators were brought to the 7 Avenue-53rd St. station and crews were working to resume train service on the B, D, C, and E lines. A list of changes and affected lines can be seen here.
