Tens of thousands of protesters opposing the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro marched through the streets of Caracas on Saturday, partaking in a 'March of silence for the fallen' to commemorate anti-government protesters who have lost their lives in recent weeks. Demonstrators gathered in various parts of the city and marched to the headquarters of the Episcopal Conference of Venezuela. The march was peaceful, though tension was running high in the Venezuelan capital, with police blocking off numerous roads that ran adjacent to the march.
