Ivanka Trump contradicts her father on Syrian refugees

First daughter Ivanka Trump took an opposing stance to her father in an interview, saying the U.S. must open its doors to refugees fleeing war-ridden Syria. "I think there is a global humanitarian crisis that's happening and we have to come together and we have to solve it," she told NBC in an interview. Ivanka suggested that opening borders to Syrian refugees must be part of the process, but is not "enough in and of itself." President Trump's executive order, which was halted by courts, would ban immigration for six Muslim-majority countries, including Syria, for 90 days.
