Venezuela to Call a New Constituent Assembly

President Nicolas Maduro announces on May Day that elections will be held for a Constituent Assembly to draw up a new constitution for Venezuela. He said it will give power to workers, campesinos, Indigenous peoples and other sectors to directly elect their representatives and chart a new path for the country.
