Assam Flood: Over 2 lakh people affected in 280 villages

The flood situation in Assam turned grim following incessant rains here in the past few days affecting nearly two lakh people in over 280 villages in the state. More than 12,600 hectares of crop areas are under water currently. At present, Brahmaputra river is flowing above the danger mark in the state.
