Lalit Modi calmis BJP MP Varun Gandhi met him in London

Former IPL chief Lalit Modi, who is accused of financial irregularities and money laundering by the Enforcement Directorate, has now targeted young BJP MP Varun Gandhi, claiming that the latter had met him in London a few years ago and said that he will settle 'everything' with the help of his aunt – Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. Lalit Modi made this revelation on social networking site Twitter and dared Varun Gandhi, who is best known for his anti-Muslim rhetoric during the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, to confirm the same. Importantly, Varun Gandhi today accepted that he had met Lalit Modi at his London residence three years ago but completely denied that he had offered to settle all legal matters involving the former IPL chief with the help of Congress chief.
