Mumbai comes to halt with heavy rains, high tide alert issued

Just as many parts of the country are still waiting for monsoon mumbai is already facing the monsoon fiasco. Heavy, continuous rains lashed the city on Thursday night leading to water-logging and affecting rail services in several parts of the city. There is a high tide alert at 2.21pm of 2.47 metres and a heavy rainfall warning has been issued for the next 24 hours by IMD Mumbai.
