14 injured in grenade attack in Kashmir

Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said he will make a statement in Parliament on Monday or Tuesday on the issue of Dawood Ibrahim. At least 14 civilians, including two minor girls, were injured today in a grenade attack by militants at a busy market in Shopian district of south Kashmir. Yoga guru Ramdev, who is Haryana's brand ambassador for promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda, on Friday claimed that 80 per cent of youths in Punjab have fallen prey to drug menace. A series of mild tremors- about six of them- were on Saturday felt in Kutch and Saurashtra regions of Gujarat. BJP MP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sadhvi Prachi has apparently alleged that actor Salman Khan got bail in the 2002 hit-and-run-case because he is a Muslim. Reportedly, she has also demanded release of Sadhvi Pragya, who is in jail for her involvement in the Malegaon blasts.
