Newborn Taken to Hospital as Iraqi Forces Continue Advancing in Old Mosul

Iraqi military media said on June 26 that forces in Old Mosul had gained complete control of the al-Farouq neighborhood, north of the destroyed al-Nuri mosque.

Officials said troops would now begin a final push eastward toward the Tigris, predicting total victory in a matter of days.
