Video released by a local network in Mosul on July 11 showed that gunfire and explosions could still be heard in Mosul in the days after victory was declared by Iraqi forces in their fight against Islamic State in the city.
The footage shows Iraqi forces sweeping through the Medan area of Old Mosul, as explosions are seen, and gunfire heard. The footage also shows scenes from a fish market and the Old Bridge across the Tigris River.
