Rapper DMX charged with tax evasion in US

American rapper DMX engaged in a multi-year scheme to conceal millions of dollars of income from the U.S. government and avoid paying $1.7 million in taxes, federal prosecutors said on July 13. The 46-year-old recording artist, performer, and actor, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested.
