President Trump Defends Confederate Monuments

President Trump said it was "sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments" on Twitter Thursday morning after backlash over his response to violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville over the weekend.
