Designed in Japan as a therapy bot, the robot is essentially a pillow with a tail. It's programmed to react to human touch by wiggling its tail or vibrating. For some, the fact that it has no feet, face, or personality is a selling point.
Personally, we like that there's no chance it pees in the house.
