India Post to seek cabinet nod for banking capital

India Post, the postal department plans to move the Union cabinet to seek capital of upto Rs1,900 crore for a proposed commercial bank. This has been opposed by the finance ministry on various grounds. Mint's Dinesh Unnikrishnan gives more details
