Execution of Man Who Murdered Mother, Brother Halted After Plea from Father Who Survived Shooting

A Texas man convicted of murdering his mother and brother in 2003 was spared the death penalty on Thursday after his father, who survived the shootings, "passionately" opposed his execution.
