Jaysh al-Islam Convoy Leaves Damascus Province for Northern Syria

A Jaysh al-Islam rebel convoy left Dumair town in east Damascus province on April 19 under an evacuation deal agreed with the Syrian regime, according to pro-regime media.

The deal included the surrender of weaponry. Buses were used to carry some 1,500 fighters and 3,500 members of their families, the Syrian state news agency, SANA, reported.
