Driver Survives Being Crushed By 25 Tonne Truck

This lucky driver gave a thumbs up from a hospital bed after he miraculously survived being crushed - by a 25 tonne shipping container. Voravut, 30, had been driving home on Sunday afternoon when an 18-wheel truck lost control at a junction on the other side of the road. The lorry spun out of control and toppled over - crushing Voravut's Toyota Fortuner under 20 tonnes of soya beans. The 40ft long container and mechanics weighed five tonnes. Incredibly, Voravut was cut free from the wreckage and rushed to hospital in the Lat Krabang district of Bangkok, Thailand, where he laughed off the crash.
