Govt scraps MRT 3 project, SST to be reintroduced in September

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced on Wednesday the outcome from a Cabinet meeting, including the scrapping of the MRT 3 rail transit project for now, and that the Sales and Services Tax (SST) will be reintroduced in September.
