On May 22 new I recieved a phone call at 4:00PM from my mom asking me if I was ok and if I had heard of the tornado. I was in the North Minneapolis area at the time. I turned on the news channel, and saw that a quarter mile wide tornado had hit an area nearby aproximately an hour before I got the call. My friend told me that it was the worst tornado to hit in 30 years. \r

I decided to go investigate and offer assistance. In my journey through the streets I traveled about 20 blocks and the story was the same wherever I went. Trees were uprooted and launched like missiles into the surrounding cars and houses. Some houses and cars were untouched, while some were completely destroyed. A random game of chance played by nature and its surrounding communities. \r

The people with whom I have come into cont with want people to know that there were no warning sirens prior to the tornado hitting the ground. The news coverage has stated otherwise and it appears to be propoganda. They also wanted people to know that more than 3 hours after the tornado struck, most of the neigborhoods were not being assisted in helping potential victims that might have been stuck in their houses. There was exly two people with Chainsaws, 2 police officers, and 2 red cross people in my more than 20 block adventure at ground level.\r

There was one person whom I only know as Mr. Macintyre who died just minutes before I arrived on the scene and was being put into an ambulence at the time of my video coverage. I have now learned that his name was Rob Macintyre aged 53 years old. He collapsed and died of a heart attack while trying to cut a tree up with a chainsaw. Im sure he will be sadly missed by many.
