Rescue efforts continue in southern Laos after dam collapse

Hundreds of people are missing and several are fear dead after a dam collapsed in southeastern Laos causing flash floods across six villages.

The footage, captured this afternoon (July 24), shows rescue teams assisting the residents in the town of Sanamxai.

The Xepian-Xe Nam Noy hydropower dam collapsed in Attapeu province late on Monday (July 23).
