Monsoon Rains Raise Risk of Water Contamination at Cox's Bazar

Monsoon rain flooded pathways and shelters at refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, on July 26 with humanitarian officials raising concerns over the unsanitary water conditions and a risk of disease spreading.

Five children were killed near Cox’s Bazar on July 25 after monsoon rain triggered landslides and flooding, reports said.
