Gaëtan Laborde scored twice in the second half as Montpellier stunned Olympique de Marseille on Sunday evening for Ligue 1 Conforama matchday 12, winning 3-0 at the Stade de la Mosson to climb into second place in the table. Marseille made the trip west along France's Mediterranean coast determined to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Classique last weekend.
