Injured Baby Owl Rescued After Flying Into Window

This injured baby owl is recovering after flying into a glass window. The spotted wood owl was discovered lying on the ground outside a block of flats in Jurong West, Singapore, on November 4 at night time. She could not stand on either of its talons and was struggling to move her wings. The inexperienced owl is believed to have ploughed into a glass window after being attracted to a light on the inside. Local Resident Ted Ng arrived on the scene to help the bird and took it in for the night. Footage shows Ted patting the owl's head as he tries to nurse it back to health.
