Folks in Amansiara and surrounding areas say no to Bkt Lagong degazetting

Residents of Amansiara and villagers of Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Lagong are against a proposal to degazette a land within the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve for a housing development project.

Some 1,065 signatures were collected over the past three weeks as the residents there were concerned about the impact the project would have on them and wildlife in the area.
