Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has lashed out at Republicans after Ed Rollins referred to her as a “little girl.”

Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has lashed out at Republicans after Great America PAC Chairman Ed Rollins recently referred to her as a "little girl."
She fired back at Rollins on Saturday via Twitter.
Ocasio-Cortez wrote: "GOP loves to insult my intelligence, yet offers this as their best + most seasoned opposition to my policy proposals. If anything, [Rollins] is a walking argument to tax misogyny at 100%."
"Republicans rob everyone the opportunity of real policy debate by resorting to this," she also noted.
Rollins appeared on the Fox Business News program 'Lou Dobbs Tonight' Friday where he said, "We have an enormous class of women who have been elected...some really interesting people and some very smart people."
However, he went on to dismissively reference Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan who used an expletive when talking about impeaching President Trump and Ocasio-Cortez who has proposed as much as 60 to 70 percent tax on multimillionaires.
"If you're going to put her out front with her mouth, which she now has the attention that she never had before, and you're going to put the little girl who wants to do pre-Reagan economics and 70% taxes, the Democratic women are going to be damaged badly," Rollins said.
According to Ocasio-Cortez, the extra revenue collected from taxing those making more than $10 million would go toward paying for a so-called "Green New Deal" plan to fight carbon emissions by phasing out fossil fuels, notes Politico.
