The DMK chief Karunanidhi has said in Chennai that the party will not participate in the delegation that is on its way to Sri Lanka. Earlier the party nominated its MP TKS Elangovan for the 15 member team; Jayalalithaa too had opposed the meet calling it a farce. The team is supposed to take a close look at the rehabilitation and developmental work for Tamils in post-war Lanka. Jayalalithaa feels the visit will be of little use.
