Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA may announce the names of Governors to be appointed in seven states on Sunday.As per reports, the new appointments by the NDA government are set to take place after the party reportedly asked the Governors appointed by UPA government to step down. After, the directive released, Uttar Pradesh Governor BL Joshi, Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt and Nagaland Governor Ashwani Kumar resigned from their posts.However, MK Narayanan Governor of West Bengal and BV Wanchoo Governor of Goa, will put in their papers later, after they have been questioned in connection with a chopper scam. Besides, the above five, Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj and Tripura Governor Devanand Konwar had retired. While, Bhardwaj was the Law Minister in UPA-I government, Konwar was a former Congress minister in Assam.
