Delhi: 635 rape cases reported this year - NewsX

The number of rapes reported in the capital in a year exceeds Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai combined. 635 rape cases have been reported so far this year. 572 cases were reported in 2011. There were a shocking close to 18,500 calls on the police helpline. 610 molestation cases have been reported this year with as many as 40 SOS calls on Delhi Police's anti-stalking line.
