Take a look now at some other shocking cases of crimes against women that have come to light around the country over the last 36 hours or so. In Faridkot, Punjab, the son of a landowner and 2 of his friends are accused of gang raping a Dalit girl. In Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, another case of gangrape has come to light. The victim was kidnapped, beaten up and raped. In Kanker in Chhatisgarh, 12 school girls between 12 and 15 claim they were raped by a watchman and teacher of their school. The crime had been going on for some time. And in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, a youth who had become a fashion model has been arrested for raping a girl after making promises to her.
