An event management executive was arrested late on Tuesday for allegedly raping a Chinese national in Hauz Khas area on Sunday night. The 23-year-old victim who works for a firm in Gurgaon had reportedly met the suspect at a party. He is identified as Tariq Sheikh — had offered a lift to the woman. The victim alleged that instead of dropping her home, Sheikh took her to a friend's home, where he forced himself on her. After dumping the victim, Sheikh allegedly went into hiding. He organizes high profile party in NCR area. He was arrested after his cell phone was put under surveillance.
