The Congress party has called for a statewide bandh on Friday in Gujarat over the recent unrest caused by suspended IPS officer Vanzara's letter. The party is demanding the resignation of Narendra Modi as Chief Minister over the allegations made by Vanzara in his resignation letter. Congress has alleged on Thursday that the Gujarat government would resort to high handedness to foil the shut down call given by them party.
