Market Intervention Scheme - The central government is preparing to help farmers on falling prices of onion. The Ministry of Agriculture can provide market value through market intervention scheme for this. For this, the Ministry has sought proposals from the State Governments. In the same incident last year, the government had bought potatoes.

प्याज की गिरती कीमतों को लेकर केंद्र सरकार किसानों की मदद करने की तैयारी में है। कृषि मंत्रालय इसके लिए बाजार हस्तक्षेप योजना के जरिए बाजार मूल्य मुहैया करा सकती है। इसके लिए मंत्रालय ने राज्य सरकारों से प्रस्ताव मांगा है। पिछले साल ऐसी ही घटना होने पर सरकार ने आलू की खरीद की थी।
