Australian submits sworn statement on kidnap

MANILA - Still on his wheelchair, freed Abu Sayyaf hostage Australian Warren Rodwell went to the Department of Justice Monday morning to execute a sworn statement regarding his abduction. State Prosecutor Aristotle Reyes said the move was recommended by the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group. Reyes said it is still unclear whether the Australian national is bent on filing charges against his abductors. ANC, April 1, 2013
