Sarawak firefighters battling peat and forest fires across state

Firefighters were putting out a peat fire measuring about six hectares near Taman Kopodim in Matang, Kuching on Tuesday.

The Fire and Rescue Department has been battling peat and forest fires throughout Sarawak since the beginning of the month, bringing the total to 384 cases involving some 342 hectares since Aug 1.
