Truck hits post along C-5

MANILA – Two people were wounded in a vehicular accident along C-5 Road in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City on Thursday morning. A closed aluminum truck carrying milk products was traversing the southbound lane of C-5 when it suddenly hit a lamp post on the center island. Truck driver Eduardo Apinaag and his passenger Amiel Castro sustained minor bruises and scratches from the crash. Fortunately, no vehicle was passing by the northbound lane when the truck drove all the way to it. Apinaag said he crashed after avoiding a speeding dump truck.
