Autopilot flaw, driver inattention caused Tesla crash in 2018: NTSB

U.S. transport safety investigators have found that Tesla's automated driver-assist system was partly to blame for the crash in LA in 2018.
The National Transportation Safety Board said on Wednesday the driver’s failure to stop for the truck AND Tesla’s autopilot system were both to blame for the crash.
The crash occurred back in 2018 when a 2014 Tesla Model S crashed into a fire truck parked on a California highway.
The report comes as questions on the effectiveness of semi-autonomous driving systems are rising.
