Aquino vows support for manufacturing sector

President Aquino made the rounds of three semiconductor and electronics plants in Laguna on Thursday morning. He talked about the achievements of TESDA, the Labor and Education departments and several electronics companies in resolving the issue of jobs mismatch through "Training for Work" scholarship program. Aquino also said his administration will continue to support and boost the country's manufacturing sector to generate more jobs. ANC News, May 1, 2014
