Elderly Chinese man dragged by bus for several metres after his foot gets stuck in doors

An elderly Chinese man was dragged by a bus for several metres after one of his feet got stuck in between the doors in southern China.

The CCTV video, captured in the city of Guangzhou on November 23, shows the bus doors suddenly closing and vehicle driving away as the man attempted to get off.

He can be seen getting one of his feet stuck in between the doors and being dragged forwards for several metres.

The old man suffered scratches to his kneel and scalp and the bus driver was suspended and is to be trained again.
