Empty canals as Amsterdam's mayor restricts access due to warm weather during COVID-19 pandemic

The city of Amsterdam restricted access to its parks and canals over the weekend due to the warm weather.

Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema called on police officers to be strict with residents caught breaking the social distancing rules.

The footage filmed on Sunday (April 5) shows empty canals.
