Out of this world! Lyrid meteor shower gives of intense fireball in the sky

A Lyrid meteor shower that took place on April 28 lit up the skies above Porto, Portugal.

Footage shows an intense fireball glow in the sky as parts of the meteor shower enter the earth's atmosphere.

The filmer Alcino said: "[There was] huge white fireball meteor crossing the Porto night sky, creating moon-sized puffs of smoke as it burnt up."
