Covid-19: Maharashtra records highest deaths in single day, tally crosses 80,000

On the second consecutive day, Maharashtra reported the highest single-day spike in Covid-19 deaths. On Friday, 139 more people lost their lives due to Coronavirus, taking the death toll to 2,849.
