India adds nearly 20,000 Covid-19 cases in a day for first time, tally rises to 5,28,859

India reported 19,906 fresh Coronavirus cases in 24 hours sending the overall Covid tally to 5,28,859. This is the first time that more than 19,000 fresh infections have been reported in a single day. The death toll went up to 16,095 after 410 Coronavirus-related fatalities were reported in a day.
