National Scholarship proposed for Budget 2017

Gerakan has proposed that the government establish a National Scholarship purely based on merit in Budget 2017. The party suggests that funds for the scholarship for needy students could derive from increasing the tax by one percent on Malaysians earning more than RM1 million and companies earning over RM300 million annually.
