DPM criticises Nanyang over caricature

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has criticised Chinese daily Nanyang Siang Pau over a recent caricature, calling it an act of " intellectual egoism". The Home Ministry had issued a show-cause letter to the daily following its publication of the caricature under the Printing Presses and Publication Act 1964, and required the daily's editor to reply by Friday.
