Liow told Najib that consensus from BN needed for Bill on Syariah Court amendments

During his visit to Bagan Sekinchan in Selangor on June 8, MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said he had told Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak that Umno has to get the consensus from all Barisan Nasional component parties for any amendments to sensitive laws.
