Tmall.com, a major online shopping platform of Chinese retailing conglomerate Alibaba Group, reaped a stunning turnover of 35.3 billion yuan (approx. 5.19 billion U.S. dollars) within the first hour of the Singles' Day shopping spree on Friday.
